Choose it, press use, and wait. If it says you have a bite, press A. Try it again if you don't get a bite. Sometimes Pokemon will get away. It takes a longer time to reel in big catches. The little ones are usually Magikarp. When you catch something, you will go into battle with it. You can catch it with a pokeball.
